A couple of months ago I did a journal with my 10 favourite landscape photographs [link]

I had a lot of trouble limiting it to 10, and there are just so many fantastic photographers and photographs that I couldn’t include.

So here’s a kind of part 2 Ten more of what I think are the finest landscape photographs I’ve seen here in my time on Deviant Art.
Again, they are in no particular order.

It looks so simple, but the vison and execution of this shot are just on another planet. What’s incredible is that Nilgun’s entire gallery is full of similar pieces of perfection.

One of the first galleries I came across here on DA, and I still think this is one of my favourite pictures from an incredible artist.

I loved this picture when I first saw it, it’s pure simplicity, just beautiful colours that have been framed and captured so wondefully. A great photo from an artist who’s gallery is full of fantastic work.

Jasper Castaing isn’t a particularly well known artist, and he isn’t around here much. Nevertheless, his gallery is superb and this shot is one of the finest waterscapes I’ve seen by anyone anywhere

The first time I came across Rebecca’s work I was amazed and assumed she was a professional. Her work has such technical assuredness, and incredible vision.
But nope, she’s only 19, which is scary because I wonder just how good she is going to be in future.

A wonderful example of Serder’s work, his photography always communicates such peace. The pure and elegent compostion looks effortless.

An incredibly talented photographer, every one of Tomas’ images is flawlessly constructed, and along with *MarcAdamus he follows the great American traditon of Galen Rowell, David Muench and Art Wolfe in creating incredible landscape photographs.

Milo’s gallery is full of incredibly innovative landscape and urban photography. It’s hard to classify his photography exactly, but whatever he does always looks wonderful, and this shot in particular is so technically complex, with so many elements going into it’s creation, and yet it looks so simple and elegent. A wonderful piece of night photography.

Tom Hide is another lesser known deviant whos work is among the very best here on Deviant Art. All his work is beautifully composed and exposed, but his waterscapes in particular are wonderful, especially this one

It’s probably fair to say that everyone who likes nature photography has faved a shot by Paavo. Choosing just one waterscape from his gallery was hard, they are all so fantastic. Sadly, he no longer submits work…but I hope to see more work from him one day..
