Features 18/01 & Planet Earth

Journal Entry: Fri Jan 18, 2008, 2:42 AM
Hello everyone, hope you’re having a great week

I’m busy with various stuff outside of dA right now and don’t have that much time to spend here. The time that I do have, I like to spend seeing other people’s work so apologies for not submitting my own work particularly quickly.

Please bear with me, I’ve got quite a few shots I’d like to submit, but it may take me a little time.

By the way, I've just bought the DVD set for BBC's Planet Earth documentaries. Quite honestly, no-one makes nature documentaries like the BBC and this is perhaps the best thing they've ever done.

It took 5 years to make, and some of the footage is just breath-taking. If you're remotely interested in nature, landscape or the planet, and you haven't seen it already, then I REALLY recommend it.

Another artist I came across recently is *Latefor
His gallery has some beautiful land and waterscapes, and I’m looking forward to seeing more.

Its a shame that so little of what the BBC does now is worth paying for but Planet Earth is just out of this world.
My favourite part is flying of the top of Angel falls, thats probably the most enjoyable part of a nature documentary I have ever seen. You've got to respect the artistry of the cameramen and directors.
