This is a beach on Portugal's protected west Algarve coast that I'd never visited before. It really is beautiful, and one I'll certainly shoot again in better conditions.

Unfortunately the sky had no interest in it, but the light was fantastic and it was certainly worth composing a few shots of the rocks.
This was taken hand held with a 3 stop neutral density filter (soft graduation) because the sun was clipping highlights on the left side of the sky.

PS I think the horizon is a little off. Apart from re-sizing and web sharpening I've not done anything to the image..so forgive my sloppiness...it's only a scrap
