I don't normally submit colour and black and white versions of the same image, but I uploaded the original version of this almost a year ago now.
It's been so long since I've taken any new images that I've been revisiting old ones, and tried converting this to black and white.
Hope nobody minds....I'll submit some new stuff just as soon as I've got some.

This is a shot of Mount Vettore in the Sibillini National Park, Umbria, Italy at sunset.

I like this almost better in monochrome! It has very nice tones and the atmosphere is stronger here!!
