Not sure about this one, I took it on the same day that I captured my last submission
[link] which I believe is far stronger.
However, as the sun set, I was satisfied that I'd got a couple of original compositions of the piers, so I allowed myself to shoot it in the same way as I shot it a couple of years previously, when I shot this
[link]The light and sky were nothing compared to that magical day, but worth shooting nonetheless. Still, I think it's one I'm not sure about as it doesn't bring anything new to the location that I haven't done, and done better, before.

The log lying across the pier tells a story which continues at the far end of the pier - and the blurry boat adds a sad ending.
The older pic doesn't have that story line.
The other [link] is out of competition, to me. It's just "awe!"
