This was taken looking in the other direction, away from the sunset.
I was pretty nervous taking this shot, the waves were huge and crashing against the rock I was standing on...and the sea here is very deep...anything that goes into it here probably isn't going to come out again.

Across on the next rock, the fisherman didn't seem to mind the risk as he calmly cast his line into the waves...but then again he could have been looking back at me and thinking the same thing.
He seemed pretty calm though, oblivious to the ghost of himself standing behind him..

Taken between Carcavelos and Parede beaches.
Nikon D80 - Sigma 10-20mm - Nikon cable release.
25second shutter - f6.3 - exp. comp. +0.6 - 10mm - ND 3 stop graduated filter
Converted to b&w and contrast work in Aperture. Frame and re-sizing in PS CS
