So I wanted to submit something a little different to the stuff I've been submitting recently.
I haven't been taking many really spontaneous shots recently, my photography so often seems to involve planning a location and tripods and filters...so it's nice to get photos which are basically opportunistic shots.

I took this recently on a weekend in London. My girlfriend and I had been shopping all day, and as she was buying some shoes on Oxford Street, I looked out the window and the last rays of the sun were streaming down the street, bathing everything in gorgeous lights and creating these long shadows.
I ran out of the shop and managed to get 4 or 5 shots before the light changed.
I actually had to stand right in the middle of the street to get this with buses and taxis whizzing past on either side (anyone who's seen Oxford Street will know how busy it is).
I did get beeped a few times, but fortunately managed to avoid getting run over.
