Recently, winter here has been this unending series of flat grey skies, and I'm busy at work and don't have much chance to get out with my camera.
But I keep seeing these great winter shots from =jjuuhhaa and *Solkku with fantastic snow-scapes, and I thought...i wonder if I could have a crack at turning a water-scape into a snow shot. On Monday night we had the first bit of colour and interest in the sky that we've had for weeks, so I ran down to the beach and had a go, playing around with shutter times trying to get the water looking something like snow...this was about the best I could do. This is continuing my series of standing on the same rock next to my house and shooting the sea every month... Taken on Carcavelos beach, Portugal Nikon D80 - Sigma 10-20mm - Nikon cable release 8 seconds | f22 | 10mm | Cokin ND grad (3 stops) Curves, vignette, frame, re-sizing and sharpening in PS CS |

~ it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the ordinary ~
When I feel like giving up (which is pretty often these days) and I've deleted pic after pic ... I look at this kind of thing and realise that maybe the goal is attainable
Tx for the inspiration

I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific.
